Third-party damage to our nation's underground critical infrastructure occurs every day.  Chances are at this minute there is someone living without electricity, water, telephone, heat or sanitary sewer service because a backhoe, auger, trencher, drill, bulldozer or other piece of heavy equipment has done damage to an underground facility.  The video captured at a utility damage scene often makes for spectacular footage because damage to these facilities are often catastrophic.  Damages to our nation's critical infrastructures run into hundreds of millions of dollars each  year.
